Vault

The Vault is your account’s shared library of trusted files. You can attach Vault files to data points as evidence, and use them with Reef and auto-population.

The Vault has four tabs: Files, Dashboards, Skills and Memory. Use the Organisation and Private switch to toggle between what’s shared with everyone and what’s yours alone.

  • Organisation files are in the Vault and visible to everyone on your account.
  • Private files are visible only to you. Files you upload in a chat are private by default.

To share a private file, select Add to Vault.

  1. Open the Vault and choose to upload.
  2. Drop in your files or browse for them. You can rename each file before uploading.
  3. Select Upload.

You can upload PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, image and HTML files, up to 100 MB each. Your account has a storage limit shared across everyone’s files, private ones included.

After you upload a file, Palau prepares it so AI can use it. This can take a moment. If it fails, you can retry.

Open a file to view it and add details:

  • Description
  • Category
  • Topics
  • Period the file is valid for
  • Organisational structure and unit

Use search and filters to find files by name, description, category, year or unit.

Dashboards are interactive pages created with Reef and saved to the Vault. You can:

  • Ask Reef to update a dashboard. Nothing changes until you compare the versions and confirm.
  • Share a dashboard with a public link that anyone can open without an account. Stop sharing at any time.
  • Skills are reusable instructions Reef follows, such as your brand rules.
  • Memory holds facts about your company that Reef should remember.

Reef can suggest saving new skills and memory as you chat. You can also create and edit them yourself in the Vault.
